How often should i get Liana RXI FF CNG tuned?

you do not need to tune the car. I think it comes with Lambda which automatically tunes itself. Let the experts come on this forum or experienced users of Liana. They might guide you better. Kindly also check the following thread

Hi,

Actually Sequential Injection System kits are more reliable, more efficiant and appropriate for EFI vehicles.

In any EFI vehicle u need to tune on the OEM recommeneded intervals, so there no extra care required as compare to regular EFI kits either its CNG or LPG.

So just follow the routine checkups and get tunned your Liana as recommended by Suzuki.

Yaar yesterday i removed the battery from my Liana due to some reasons. After that i m feeling that my car is not giving me good performance on CNG. Pickup decreased and car is doing some unusual things like "ghutna" when i punched accelerator hard. Have u ever experienced this type or problem?

ECU's on your Liana are reset due to disconnection of battery for some time. get it checked.

I hope the files needed for CNG software are all intact. Sometimes they get lost and an update in required from the dealer.

once i put out my battery for cleaning, and put it again, but i did'nt get any problem in performance, u better check it from suzuki motors, hope it will get on its prev condition without any hasle. also get checked the gravity of battery liquid. i mean water & acid ratio.......

let me check wot interval for checking suzuki gave in its manual.
so far, its about 25000 km done, but the performance not decreased or increase. i mean its the same as on the first day.

it means that we should not disconnect the battery as u said. wot if we want to get it cleaned?

you may remove battary, it should not go beyond the default settings

If play up on cng only, means, the cng ECU need the settings, if it plays up on petrol too, means car's ECU is lost his default values. So either way u hv 2 visit Suzuki.

Before going for a checkup, drive your car for a continuous long-drive of 30 minutes. If it still feel the same, get it checked by Suzuki people

There is no tuning as such for the CNG but as other members advised only regular checkups as per manual says should be conducted like checking of the plugs after 10k etc etc..

The problem you have mentioned is quite strange since removing the battery should not at all as per my knowledge disturb either petrol or CNG ECU. Since these ECU have EEPROM (memory chips) inside which store the program in it and battery removal should not disturb it... My experience is that initially when i bought the car there was some issue with my cars ECU so it was send back to PAK-SUZUKI Karachi for re-programming .. so it tells you that after re-programming there was no battery connection with it and we installed it back and it is running fine.. so i don't think there is anything related to the battery with the ECU..
if some wrong connections are done mistakenly during battery installation than i can't say anything....

it means that D.I.Y on liana is a bit risky. isn't it.
I usually remove battry for cleanliness, but i think i should not do it and get it cage and battery cleaned as it fixed.
I think the suzuki dealers here in fsd, cant re-programm the s/w, may be they dont have the updated s/w so far? all this should be arranged before the new modal launched, but here is nothing........even suzuki fsd dont have experts of liana, they just play tricks if someone got problem, dont know about other cities..

Well D.I.Y on any EFI car is a bit risky since EFI engine involves lots of sensors and most of all the main heart of EFI the ECU...
As i mentioned i don't think there is any harm in removing the battery and than placing it back but be sure about the terminals to be plugged with the battery correctly....
I agree with you that many of the suzuki dealerships lacks with pure skills of EFI cars like either they don't have equipment to check and if they have they don't have expertise to use them.. fortunately here in Islamabad only AZIM motors dealership have at least some good guys who knows a bit more about this car (LIANA) they have software which can at least let you know about the any errors CNG ECU is experiencing but they also don't have re-programming facility.. since PAK-SUZUKI has not let that software been given to any dealership yet to my knowledge.. whats the reason behind it.. i don't know....
