no car in the world has a set regimen for radiator cleaning because the manufacturers fill them with long life coolant that is good for 5 or 10 years depending on brand.
The reason you hear a lot of chatter in Pakistan about cleaning radiator etc, is because people dump the coolant on the ground and promptly fill it with tap water because "coolant mehenga hai"
if your system is rusty/scaly then clean it with a citric acid flush, replace any corroded parts, install missing parts back (thermostat) after that fill it with 50% coolant mix (proper coolant like caltex) and forget about it for the next 5 years. - Dont let any moron mechanic drain it away on the ground - if you need to have the car worked on for some reason, buy a clean shallow pan/tub to collect the coolant and reuse again.
