My suggestion is if u get an opportunity to come to UAE... Make sure ur paid above 5K (if you are not provided accomodation by company)

i am wondring how people get job in uae while siiting in pak i saw too many people i know they are working in dubai sharja abu dhabi etc i dont have contact with them so i can ask them thats why i asking
recently saw 3 old class fellows they are woking in dubai and i am confused how do they get job abroad its even hard to get job in pak but people are going to uae and getting job like its most easiest thing
plz shed light on this if i have to do the same how can i do this?

TIPS FOR YOU:

1.Dubbizle.com Search jobs their.
2.Get a Visit visa and apply their.
3.If you dont find a job then go for Real estate job u can get it easly.
4.Before going read/understand all the labour laws of dubai.
5.At least 5000+ Dhs with accommodation,if u get 2000+ dhs dont even think about it.
6.My advice PAKISTAN is gold . Apnaa Apnaa hai.

A person without education, who just wants to make quick bucks to send home, most get treated like this!

That's not right. Some of the nationalities yiu have mentioned are even ban now. They can't even get visit visas let alone employment!

The plus point they have because of Arabic language is just that it becomes easy for them to get things done. Mostly when it's related to government. Baqi har jagah English chalti hai!

I know people who are UAE Nationals but don't know Arabic at all!

you are right, ban are the people & nationalities for employment Public sector as well & private sector businesses under local sponsorship follows the same since burst of bubble in 2008. But Palestinean gets special treatment due to UN status allocation. Jordan is SUSRAL to Rulers of UAE so they get preferred treatment

What Capsat said about Shias is true. Shias are facing difficulties in getting jobs here. Abu Dhabi, it already end of story! I have heard CID asking them simply to leave.

CID SUVs are directly linked to Immigration & EIDA, in real time they can cross check your nationality, status & financial health in under 90 seconds just by scanning over your emirates ID, employment card, driver's licence, car regn card, - They need another 180 seconds for the person on visit visa have passport but without copy of visit visa.

For average life with small family...

3000 Dhs Rent for a 1 bed apartment
1000-1200 Dhs Utility Expenses
1500 Dhs Grocery
1000 - 1500 Dhs Average car's installment
1500 Dhs for miscellaneous expenses

Come out to be around 8000 Dhs. Now you should have extra in case of emergencies like medical needs, fines etc. Therefore a minimum of 10-12 Dhs at this point of time. If you get more you can upgrade your living style such as moving to a better apartment, buying a better car etc.

Once you have a child, expenses become more obviously. And then again, yiu can't get all just after coming here. You'll have to save first to get a house on rent, to get a car financed, to get a license etc.

Now after Expo2020 announcement, living is going to be very expensive.

AED 8000 NET without accomadation is considered 'entry level' salary for 'CAR driver in corporate sector 7am to 6 pm' / ' heavy vehicle driver get the same but flexible schedule ' with english speaking & writing skills in Dubai / Abu dhabi. rest of 5 estates are cheap & very flexible.

Make an assessment, for cost & saving people employed in DUBAI companies are living as far as ajman but they pay a price for commuting to dubai to reach at work by 8.30 - 9.00 am, they start at 6.45 am, and some start at 5.30 am to reach jabel ali industrial areas & ahead by 8.30 / 9 am. - rentals are about 50% lower in ajman compared to dubai & 30% compared to sharjah.

come Januray 2014 costing & price of living will surely change dramatically for people from Subcontinent, these people will be compelled to move out to cheaper states away from Dubai for residence thus eliminating coloured people from public scene in ' Happy Hours '

Here's my contribution
-Dubai will get expensive by 2020, but job opportunities will rise.
-8k is what minimum for a very small family to survive. We used to earn more than that but still faced issues,
- Shia, Sunni thing is still going on, but I believe Arabs have a great nature as compared to our Pakistani's (gujjar's and Chauhdry's no offence )

what matters is ' Color of Passport ' language fluency in arabic & english is considered 'Premium feature' , - somewhere over this very forum i shared information for a person who was retired from Pratt & Whitney local rep office, P&W ( united technologies ) plucked him away to USA under H-1 to coordinate GCC operations, 6 years later the very same person with US passport is BOSSING his ex-uae employer at the salary scale for European & US citizens. Plus he is 2nd in command for the P&W GCC operations means he has broad base of operations to look after not only UAE.

I do not wish to hijack the topic - but boy Faiz Aslam, before time runs out finish your A-levels, & if you have a european passport and funds support from your country for education. I suggest register yourself at a UAE school get admission & finish your schooling, a job will automatically be offered to you by UAE companies / international companies working in UAE at final term of senior year . You can also offer your living experience with people interested to setup businesses in UAE from your country of passport.

every day passing by is never coming back, focus on your studies & finish at least a bachelors course. - disconnect internet and think what you wish to achieve in life. & how much time you wasted & left with.

all GULF & Far East countries require verified schooling documentation for 'executive / technical ' slot from ' ALL NATIONALITIES ' SINCE YEAR 2000

They found scars in my chest while having X-Ray and declared it as OLD TB, so got an unfit report and came back home. However they didn't deport me and gave a chance to come back after treatment. I got it checked thoroughly but no TB was found even in past, the scars were not due to TB, only a little infection may be due to food indiscretion.

Now going again on employment again but confused about medical test to be taken again, i.e if they find anything (scars), will deport me and send me back permanently because its federal law of U.A.E and G.C.C countries that if a person has scars in chest, they declare him/her unfit (and don't grant him residence visa) either he/she has TB history or not.

I've heard that if scars are present in chest (lungs) either due to TB or any other reason, they remain through out the life. Please let me know if there is any way (medicine or treatment) to remove scars from chest (lungs) so that I can clear my medical test in Dubai and continue my work. I'm healthy but nervous about X-Ray. I've heard that they don't do something under the table and strict to there laws without any compromise. I'm too much disheartened in this condition as its not fair that I've to ruin my career and dreams without any reason.

you are US citizen or about to become a US citizen , after declining a 2009 job offer in UAE. - read dubai.metblogs.com - eye opening.

the guy at P&W worked in UAE for over 20+ years & was a retiring expat to return to home country when P&W plucked him to USA over H-1 now he is a US citizen Bossing in UAE.

UAE is blood sucking, youth destroying, corporate slavery, - You can try to re-locate in UAE now as US citizen & life will be 5 times better for you in contrast to living in NY. 'wa_allah'

take along the PRO of company and keep 300 dirhams cash in hand, at the clinic look around for an indian or bengali assistant corner him and tell him truth - favor extended will cost you in tune of 100 - 300 dirham.

what about engineers? i mean with some experience things will be better but what if someone wants to get a job as fresh graduate? Most of the jobs i find always require 3-5years experience but are there any trainee programs or something?

bascially i wanna know what should be a fresh engineer's approach...
