How to cash a pay order?

I have a pay order (A/C payee only) in my name but I do not have a bank account.

Will account in any bank work? Also this is like a salary for a part time job.(I am a student)
Will I be able to open an account easily? I mean every bank now requires a proof of income. How do I provide that?

Or can I deposit it into my father's account?

A/C Payee means you need to deposit it on your account (that is on your name) - cross

open a joint account with father

he will mark you as he is the bearer of your expense and bank will open your both account on this proposition

that's the sole reason of having a pay order...it can only be deposited in account, can't be cashed...open up a bank account in your name and then deposit it

You just have to open an account, no other way, or you may ask the person for cash against the payorder and return him the payorder.

Go to anybank and open a BBA( basic banking account). U only need ur id card, student card n may be letter from ur uni or collage that u r a student.

ask the administration of univ to give you a letter of being an employee working there

submit that in bank you have the account open

The pay order can only be deposited in the persons account who the pay order is assigned too and that specific bank.

So a MCB pay order can only and only be deposited in a MCB bank.

Easiest solution is to make a bank account.
Cancelling the pay order and get cash instead will take some time and work ( 1-3 days ), I did that blunder once :o
