How to clean grease and oil from engine bay?

The person I bought from was using 20W50 and oil changers also told me to stick with it as its an old car... But now I am thinking to switch to 10W40, which is factory recommended. Is it good to change to 10W40?

Actually the bottom drain nut has become loose

sir you only need a new washer for sump drain bolt available at any parts shop

Its way beyond that now. The bolt is loose. That is, it cannot be tightened. Use washer or not it keeps on rotating loosely and cannot be tightened, which means that the housing (nut) has worn out.

I think, the crests and roots / threads for drain bolt in the engine oil sump, have diminished, and they require rethreading.

Yes. Mechanic tried to use a tool, like a long bolt with threading edges directly but it didn't work properly. He is saying that it needs to be removed and get fixed by some expert kharadia...!

Okay... Shall I use any engine flush to flush engine first or just cleaning the oil sump is enough?

No idea. But I've heard that engine flush will remove the sludge, which sometimes acts as a barrier and prevents oil from leaking, hence your car might start losing oil. All depends on the health of the engine

use all purpose cleaner or brake cleaner to get the oil off.

all purpose cleaner of 3m or meguiars is best
