How to clean headlights?

as the title says that how to clean headlights at home?

1.unscrew your lamps from car
2.remove the silicon attaching lamp glass to lamp body
3.separate both of them
4.clean the laMp with glass cleaner or alcohal
5.seal it back with with silicon
6.screw lamps back on the car
7.sit in the car drive it to professional and ask him to redo the job the way it needed to be done
8.pay him and come back
or
do step 7 at the first place

i have done the front headlights cleaned the other way. nice and easy.

if u dun wan open it then apply ''scratch out'' on it couple of times u will see difference .. !! or you can also apply water with vinegar too

use some simple toothpaste.....it works like a charm and then wash it away.

1500 and 2000 grit wet sandpaper. will remove the yellow haze. then apply plastic polish to it.

There are YouTube videos on this topic but you would need some items like a headlamp cleaner (mcguires?). Anyway search YouTube

you can unseal them only with heat gun but you need to set appropriate heat to prevent melting.

IMO get them done by a professional.

My personal experience says that the minor scratches start to develop on the plastic after it has been sanded?
Even if you use the plastic polish the scratches still develop after sometime.

Do wetsanding with 2000 or 2500 grit, and then apply an abrasive compound to it.A buffer will do the best job applying the polish,you can apply by hand as well but you need to apply alot of force.If the headlights are dirty from inside,then you need to open them.
