How to connect with Honda City Computer

Hi guys,

Is there any embedded computer interface in Honda City 08? I assume that since it is EFI, it should have an on-board compter (like Vitz).

Pls. let me know how to connect to this computer for diagnostics and maintenance??

Whr is the interface located on the chasis? and which cables/software required for this purpose?

@neoq too many sleazy dreams now days huh ...dude vitz is a recondition imported car while honda city is a local assembled car der for city does not have any pc interface or such gadgets then let is be 2008 or 2009 model

ys the city does have a computer for diagnosic and tuning purposes. the ppl at honda use connect their computer with the one in the car and use it when you go for the 40K maintenance. the plug for connection in located in the area near below the steering wheel towards the center console. but you need a special instrument for connecting to it and a special software for tuning as well. the guys at honda have both.

^^Exactly my point.
But the question is how to get the connection cable and software to keep with us for performing maintenance checks ourselves at home.... Any bright ideas people ?!?

You cannot get the software to computer check the vehicle with yr own computer. If u know any body at Honda Pit Stop or Dealership; they could suggest u what to do.

You need an OBD-II scanner for diagnosing the ECU.

What "maintenance" are you looking to perform on it?
