the only thing you can do is take his cell, ID card and driving license copy,
but still there's no guarantee of trustworthiness unfortunately.
not to demotivate you of any sort,
but my brother also hired a driver to run his old Mehran in careem... but unfortunately after a few months he had to sell his car because that driver used it soooooo roughly that the car was spending more time at mechanic than at careem : (
as bad as it sounds, but you have to be very ill-mannered, thick skinned and tough cooky to crack to deal with these drivers : ( if you show empathy, they'll take it for granted ... i am sorry but that's a sad reality
