My mehran shows more petrol on its guage than it should and the fuel finishes before reaching "E" the empty sign on the radar.there is a definite problem with my fuel metre as it had previously stopped working and when i repaired it, it started showing a little more petrol than it should.can someone tell me how i can fix this problem myself?
check out the wiring as the wire goes into the tank from the back seat,,,,,once my car show me full but it was nt full...thn i just touch the wire.i mean just move it a little bit and its again working fine
get ur fuel tank guage check 1st...that must be faulty due to rust....remove connection from fuel tank guage and short it wid ur car body ur fuel indication needle shud riseup to top...if not then ur needle faulty...or else ur tank guage...check it
open speedo meter, pull the petrol guage needle and re-install it a little downward as before. it has to adjust on hit and trial base. you can check it by grounding guage wire going to petrol tank. by grounding it showed show full F on needle.
open the meter take out the needle and re adjust it simple if its empty then place it on E i did that my self
