I have a bike but i did not transfer the registration papers on my name. And i lost the papers now. Now please help me how i could get registration papers again. The owner of that bike is my friend's wife. I have the file and open transfer letter of that bike. Is there anyway to get the papers without disturbing my friend?
You are not authorize to get the duplicate registration.
Legally the owner have to visit the excise office and sorry - in your case, owner is ur friend's wife.
Everything is possible, just consult some dalal roaming outside the regn. office. He will tell you the required Authority Letter and other papers, which need to be signed by your friend's wife.
Not to mention that Quaid e Azam's salami will be required.

Our country lack system with capital S - SYSTEM. Civilised world have system - only a driving licence holder can buy / lease a car.
@OP goto your friend's place with transfer letter / request for duplicate papers letter, request owner to sign it and problem is over unless you have 'done' something making you Guilty not to visit them for a favor
Its a flaw, the eto must ask for copy of licence in case of regn or transfer.

Eactly what I was thinking.
One can hire a driver if he/she don't know driving - it doesn't means that one can't own a bike or car.
Bike and car are assets and can be own by any one and company. A company don't know driving.
