How to get surround sound in my car?

aoa guys
i was thinking tohow to get surround sound for my car,at the moment ive got,
sony gt370 pre
jvc 6932 speakers
12inch kenwood sub,dnt remember the series
audiobahnn 1600w 4 channel amp
4 sony door speakers,dnt remem the model num
+ ipod shuffle which is connected 24/7
wt shd i get now???
im not in a mood to change the jvc speakers n the sony gt370,though im in a mood to upgrade from shuffle to nano 4th gen 8gb which i just ordered frm usa.

the system does has good quality but v little/no surround sound.
wt can b done abt it?

get an equilizer with surround sound option and change the trunk speakers.
The speakers look repaired. Go for component ones instead. Turn on the surround from equilizer, use the amp with seperate highs and lows. Highs should be given to midrange seperately. This all in one oval speakers never give surround sound. U need mid range and tweeters installed at back and front. Again with seperate highs and lows.
The equilizer i m talking about is an alpine one with 13 band 4 channel and surround. It has separte out put for surround.
U can chk hall road as i dont remember model number.

im nt an expert.but in order to get surround sound and quality too u need components fr the front doors a centre speaker.a couple of 6x9 fr da rear.and a good amp nd if u need more get sound processors too.

these speakers r un repaired bro,the condition looks like this cuz theve been kept in my cupboard for quiet a while till i decided to out em back in my car few days bak

how much wud the equalizer cost n which brand wud b better?
i am planning to get components n get a seperate amp for them as well

i dont hv any idea bro about the price. My friend got it from bilal gunj an year bk and it was used one. We got it installed in his se saloon with 4 component speakers and two original ones. No amp was used as the equilizer had a built in small amp with volume. It had sub option and seperate output for high /mid range. The amp/equilizar got 6 or 7 present surround modes as well as manual surround mode also. When the surround was activated, it gave a real quality surround sound.It was alpine make but was not new and latest model. The car has been sold or i would hv told u the model number. Just chk hall road u may find some newer latest thing for surround sound. But still get a pair of components. These 6x9s in my opinion dont serve the purpose of quality sound as all the low mids and highs are coming from one point if directly on pre.

jz bro, i just called that friend, he suggested that if u cant find this kind of power equilizer then another option is to change the pre with the one which supports dts and dolby digital surround but that probably will be a dvd player and a bit expensive.

Plus the components are a must to get the best quality from digital surround system.

compile a cd ,or gimme all tracks you want to surround mode. and also let me know where you want to hear them

huge, small halls. hexagonal halls, church, opera, disco, theater etc, and how far you want to be from speakers and how large area you want, or if you want to stand inbetween caves or mountains and listen to yr fav tunes, i will burn you cd or record tape from yr cd, and you can listen in yr normal stereo and get an experience of Sony TA-E 1000 ESD surrounds- i forgot YAmaha dsp amps after listening to this.

or if you want to do a DIY. you can pass music through yr pc surround and burn mp3 on yr other pc line in
