Is the dpc intact? I think it is fractured jis ki wja sy pani oper aa rha ha wall tak
@basitali87
One idea is to cover the wall with ceramic tiles. It will not solve the humidity/nami problem but it will hide the issue. Rest wait for civil engineer on forum to respond.
Tiles will not sustain the seepage as the tile bond will not gain strength and start to give away
What about PVC paneling?
Exterior wall application k liy pvc panel kbhi use hoty daikha nai. Interiors main use hony wali product ha. Can’t say anything about its behaviour against weather effects.
Absolutely right Mene bhi kabhi nai dekhayI believe plastic Crack ho jaye ga summers mein due to extreme heat
If the same issue was somewhere indoors then proper scrapping, drying, filling with wall putty and paint application (not distemper) would have solved the issue to some extent. Rest could be covered up using wall panels. But outdoors needs a different approach.
Please raise your concern in following thread:
May be, @tajammal84 brother might help.
Ceramic tiles won’t stay on it- will fall off(Mistri told)
I posted my question in “Adwag” but nobody responded
Wall panel outdoor? With sun and rain exposure? No wayAs I told, there are underground water tanks on three sides of wall and people living in those houses not cooperating in terms of solving the issue, may be some underground tank is causing this seepage
I have had this wall scraped then used wall putty on it but nothing is holding on and falls off like wafers
Will “hammering” machine work here- I mean what If I sprinkle chips on the wall?
I have had this wall plastered many times but to no use, that is why I have resorted to thinking in terms of hiding/covering up the issue
What if I try using chips on the wall with hammering machine?
Nothing will stick unless you find out the source of dampness and then address it. In this case it seems to be from underground water tank. If dpc is damaged or absent then no measure will work
Brother I don't know what Adwag is?
I have tagged the experienced fellow member here.
May be, he replies here or you may raise your concern in the thread, which I have referred to.
Its dedicated to houses, their construction, different issues, etc.
