How to identify a smuggled tyre when buying?

Hi guys! I am going to buy new tyres for City 11, can anyone let me know how to identify if shopkeeper is selling me smuggled tyres or proper imported ones???
Current plan is to go for Michelin ES.

smuggled tyres come wrapped in low quality packing. The shopkeeper wont hesitate telling u how he got it.

apart from goodyear in Lahore (MM alam road) they are almost all smuggled. simple.

same in ISB, all are smiggled except pirelli.

they also have tampered date stamps so always buy from the main dealers of whatever brand is in your city.

when you are paying a good amount for tyres, pls verify that you are buying fresh imported tyres.

pls ask shopkeeper to show you fresh bill of entry for that brand. all importer provide fresh bill of entry to shopkeepers for each lot. shopkeepers whho are trying to sell you cheap smuggled tyres at the prie of imported tyres will make 100 excuses for not showing you bill of entry.

Its very easy to recognise smuggled tyre.. Its internal structure will not be properly circle shaped.. It will be kind of oval shaped.. For more info please visit my page Mustafa tyre & auto on FB

Yes.. I know some shops in Multan where it happened.. Even they have Tyre polishing, repairing and packing workshop behind the front shop.. May ALLAH swt curse the liers!!!
