How to Install a Relay or a Cut Out

Nice to see the horns installed. 

One thing tho. The horn at the bottom is not in a suitable position. It should be like the one above. See the picture and imagine that if water tries to enter the bottom horn, its easy. Further it would stay inside and damage the unit. For the one above, its difficult and it would not pool in.

Im quite sure you used the cars original relay for the setup. Good as long as it can handle the current, which Im sure it is able to.

Today I stumbled upon a wiring diagram for a horn pair in my jumble of parts.

For the record here are the standard terminal codes for a four terminal relay (copying some text off one of my above posts)

1. Negative/ ground. Terminal code 86.

2. To the load. This is the positive terminal for the load. Terminal code 87.

3. Positive from the battery. Via a dedicated wire which can handle a good current. Terminal code 30.

4. From the command input, in this case the horn button circuit. Terminal code 85.
