How to keep Suzuki Khyber 89 model into active position

Assalamu Alaikum!

Dear fellows, my Suzuki Khyber is continously disturbing at a great level even on local travelling.

I would appreciate if some expert opinion may please be sought for keeping it permanently running position.

I have got Mehran Carborator installed since, 2018.
It has now started to create massive troubles during travel. Otherwise it was a perfect source of conveyance for me, since 2012.

By reading the sentence “it has a mehran carburetor” is making me wonder how far is your whole car from its factory/original specifications and design.

The further you go away from the original setup, the worse your reliability becomes.

Infact the original carburettor was replaced in 2018 due to its slow jet issue from time to time where tge mechanics are always found reluctant to deal it being complicated in nature, especially outside Rawalpindi/Islamabad.

its been quite an experience after replacing the carburettor. But now since last year, the situation has rather gone worst. The car deceives even on local routes causing embarrassement with family as push start turns out to be the way out at times, with fear of going down during travel.

Any technical guidline will highly be appreciated.

This is a ridiculous problem, and you really shouldn't be facing these troubles at all. Modern cars are much more complex than yours. The mechanics you've been visiting, unfortunately, are likely incompetent.

I daily drive a 30-year-old Suzuki. I feel your pain, but I had to do most things myself to get it into a reliable state.

Which city are you located in? Members might be able to refer you to a mechanic that knows what the hell they're doing.

I can bet 10 grand that the mechanic doesnt know squat what a slow jet is or how its emulsification circuit works in a basic egg and potato carburettor from an sa310

Dear brother, I have always been at complete peace of mind since I first purchased the car back in 2012 after initial required basic works. Its been delivering successfully both on CNG and petrol at the same time for a long time.

It really started to tease since 2018 afterwards at patches. The previously available reliability factor gone missing at a great deal.

At this point in time its engine require some working like "Rings work" its sulf is also troublesome nowadays, and any other relevent work.
