I have lit my geyser two days back. Its pilot is taking a great quantity of gas. I mean on PILOT selection water is being heated. Thus geyser is consuming enormous amount of gas. Can someone help me HOW TO REDUCE GAS FLOW TO PILOT IN CONVENTIONAL HOME GEYSERS?
Someone told me to adjust the gas to PILOT by tightening or loosening the small screw which is shown on right side of Temp regulator. Is it right?
reduce gas from main valve through which gas is coming,i have done the same.
I will try the same. Can you tell for what this screw is used?
that screw is for pilot flame adjustment, but according to my experience,it will make things worse,so better dont touch it because mostly pilot flame goes unstable.
@sherwani74Your guess is correct. The small screw is used for regulating the flow of gas to the pilot. Try to adjust it (Tightening it reduces and loosening increases the flow). If it doesn't get adjust then it would be better to call the thermostat company person.
is round button ko warm per rekha kero aur baki valve ko adjust kerdo , bilkul low per
take a plast and gently squeze the pilot feeding pipe.
Thanks everybody for advice.I have adjusted gas flow by main valve. I am afraid if I play with that small screw things may go verse and I would have to find a mechanic.
