Use ice cubes.. keep rubbing on it. Some people have positive results. Wet sanding might be an option too. But experts @ahmad_yar might recommend something. Don't use any thinners,paint removers.

remove elfy with a sharp edged screw driver. small parts of elfy will still remain. make surface even with wet sanding. then use a rubbing compound and apply wax. worked good for me.
i managed to take it off using agressive clay and loads of patience
Use WD-40
Use 3M-Trizact Sanding Paper with wet sanding process. P-1500 then P-2000 and finally P-3000
