How to reverse park a sedan

small cars like cuore alto vitz i.e hatch back are easy to reverse but how to reverse a sedan with a trunk without sensors n reverse camera,i was wondering so thought to get opinion of others as well

u can look into mirrors so its easy to reverse but if there's a car behind in parallel parking,how would you know how much gap is left?
rear view camera doesnt helps at all, side view mirrors show car body as much as till end of back door,so no idea of trunk n using the mirrors alone i feel car is already very near even when there's space,though i have a reverse camera but without that how to know?

i guess mostly its just experience or experiment

Thats called art of driving. Your side mirrors are suppose to show you the rear bumpers along with the road. An experienced driver knows all the corners of his/her car. Hence an amateur is advised to take driving lessons. The real driver feels the car as his own body.... If you know your car well than my friend You can even park your car on everest .

For me.........reverse driving even an Alto or Mehran is a tough job. Once upon a time, i went to a nearby village to drop a person at 11 pm. His house was at the end of blind street.......After dropping him, i reversed my car.........after few yards i dropped the front wheel of car in main hole..........DHAAAAAAzzzzzzzz........a loud sound brought a man to me...........He looked at me and laughed hysterically.
Then he reverse drove my car,kept open the driver door while reversing.........and without any problem he reversed the car..........

Its all about your experience. A good driver is not a person drives fast and smooth on straight road but a good driver can be judged by his parking style.

Yeah its true its tough to reverse park a sedan than a hatchback. My experience: i easily park and take my coure to very narrow places too, without worrying a little. While driving civic what to say about parking even driving in traffic make me worry to check all the sides. Jaga hai ke nahi. Nikley ge ya nahi. And this is because i drive civic very less so to me its all about experience.

well people do have the tendency n an old habbit to quickly appear before a car that is going to reverse

drivers easily reverse n all....since they dont have a care for the car,they experiment ........i guess thats how they learn,i dont do that

while reversing rear view mirror doesnt shows any distance instead it shows u r already half way on the bonnet of car lol

Its all about experience and how much you know about your car

Usually side view mirrors help me a lot but Whenever i am in doubt that how much place is left at back, i take out my mundi from the window and then reverse the car...
