How to save shark fin antenna from car cover

Hi guys
i recently bought Honda city 1.5. but due to shark fin antenna i am facing difficulty in putting car cover.
one of my friends recently bought same car and damaged its shark fin antenna while putting / adjusting car cover.. any ideas how to avoid /resolve this, please?

Use a plastic bowl with padded edges (add cloth or something) then cover it .

My City has rear antenna. I used to unscrew the antenna almost daily before covering it and screw it on after removing. Tiresome but possible. I would suggest you to cut a slit in the cover where the antenna is. Cover won't remain water proof but your antenna fit in the slit.

Isnt the shark fin actually easier to put the cover on ?

Or do you seal pack your car everytime?

how can a 1.5 - 2 inch raised but flat antenna mess cover ?
unless ofcourse you have treat blades installed on top

you get car covers these days with a slot for the shark fin you can get one of those.

Has your friend found a way? My car's antenna also got damaged. The car cover i have was not supposed to create scratches on the car (as claimed by the seller) and it did not, however, the paint brushed off from the small pointy area of the shark fin antenna despite taking good care while putting the cover on and removing. Is there any car cover available that is designed in a way that the antenna fits in, like they have for side mirrors?
