How To Send Car..Khi to Isb

Hi ..
My cousin has bought a car from Karachi .. he lives in Islamabad .. so i need to send him car ... i wanted to know which is the safest way to send car either Truck or by Train .. and if any body have contacts with any person who sends car then plz tell ..

by trailar transportation company is the safest and most common way.. and if u r transporting a too much expencive car then u can also have insurance from them.. !

ya use NLC-tranportation services.. there are couple of other companies too..better to contact ALTAMASH..he was better market knowledge of karachi market..

i had both my cars sent by truck. once it was by burhan and the 2nd time i forgot the name. both times it was arranged by altamash at a very reasonable rate (including insurance) i think it coste me around 18k for the surf with FULL insurance and aroudn 12k for the vitz.

i'll suggest you get it sent with full insurance as you never know what might happen on the way.

your cousin will have to go to turnol to recieve the car. for further details call alatamash on 03332135567 and he'll forward you to the transport guy (who is also a friend of his now, so you are guaranteed good service)

What about NLC? someone once told me they charge Rs. 5000 for transportation AND insurance.

Niazi transport with insurance , from maripur road will take 4 days or less to reach Isl.

definitely do it by NLC. I had my mehran transported from khi and then back to lahore by NLC without any glitches. Further, they have the right kind of rigs for the job. If you are doing it from khi , they require documentation like clearance from anti theft cell, but its not difficult. Also the charges are not exorbitant. You can get their tel numbers at their website and call them (NLC) .They are near boat basin in khi. http://www.nlc.com.pk/contact.html.. under freight services
Dont go for raliways.. they are a rip off.

NLC prices are with insurance, we use them only to transport our mercs from KHI to ISB. 2/4 of my rides were sent through altas guy though.

i called NLC ... they said 15,000 for the car without insurance and they don't insure car ... !!!

got both of my cars (Cuore and Mehran) transported by R&R transporters each costed 8k and no insurance. They picked up the cars in Karachi from Saddar and I got them from Turnol phattak outside Islamabad.

I removed their stickers last week from my Cuore but may have some phone number somewhere in my records. Will try to find them and post them here.

Got my vitz from altamash. Paid 10k in total and got the car from tarnol. And that 10k included insurance as well. I think the name of the transporter was Burhan goods something like that. As Sameer Bhai said better to call altamash.
