How/where to set/adjust engine race of Suzuki Mehran euro 2

My Mehran is giving out a LOT of petrol (smell) through exhaust cylinder.
and its not throwing water ... (its 2013 with only 5000km driven), i just bought it 2nd hand.

need help.

should i just goto Suzuki shop and tune it up?

Get ur car timing adjust and tappet setting as ur car is just 5000km driven

Throwing water through exhaust pipe does not mean your engine is healthy its just a misconception made by desi mechanics.

can anyone tell me how to adjust the race (rpm) as i dont want to visit the mechanic for not trusting them! jab bhi jao koi naya issue nikal daitay hain!! i want to adjust the rpm by my self n currently i can feel its high! i have seen mechanic putting their hand behind air filter box do their magic! lol
i want to know what nut or bolt do they adjust? its a carby Mehran!

I am posting these instructions according to my experience with Cultus. Mehran should be similar.

1- Warm up the car. Wait for the cooling fan to kick in.

2- Ensure that all electrical appliances are off; wait for the cooling fan to turn off.

3- Behind the airfilter box on the carb is a white plastic screw. Rotate it clockwise or counter-clockwise to increase or decrease idle speed. If you don't have a tachometer (RPM meter), set it at the lowest RPM at which the engine will run smoothly.

Brother i dont understand about wait for for the cooling fan turn off, however its keep running till time the time engin or swicht remain on

this happens when you let stupid electricians mess up the connections radiator fan is designed to switch on at a certain temperature, every stupid mechanic loves direct fans and no thermostat valve causing the engine to run cold and wear faster with reduced engine life never let anyone remove thermostat and make fans direct
the other thing for idle adjustment all the electrical load are turned off as if there is any electrical load engine will have slightly higher idle to prevent stalling that is the reason it is best to adjust with all loads off and than check with headlights on to ensure perfect idle
