How was your experience going to Shoba Bazar?

Asalamualaikum!

I have a Civic 2005 (eagle eye) model. The car has some deep dents on doors and front fenders, and the front and back bumpers have cracks on them.

We went to a Pathan mechanic here in Lahore just to get the estimate of all the work. He suggested us to go to Shoba Bazar, Peshawar and all the things will cost around Rs. 150,000 but the car will become like brand new.

New engine will be placed. New front and back bumpers. New front and back lights and a sunroof would be installed too. New poshish. New electric unit wouId be placed. Everything would be brand new.

I want to know about the car parts dealers there as I have just read a thread about a bad experience of a pakwheeler there. How are the people there? Have you ever been to Shoba Bazar? How was you experience? As I am planning to go their on next Friday.

If this is your first .it is best to take a friend who has experience there . Or if you have reference .otherwise they might out a lot of parts and put bad stuff inside .you might get into more trouble . Also hopefully more people will share their experience with you

Assalam o alaikum bro. Im from Peshawar. Yes there is alot of varieties here in shoba bazar. Each part of the car is easily availible here in shoba but it would be better that some pashto speaking brother may take with urself bcz if u go alone then u will find some problems regarding rate etc

Try to start ur car work in steps
First mechanical works
Cosmetic,interior
Doors bumpers etc

Judging from your post, i would suggest that you refrain from such plan. Swaps only and i mean only work when you know about your car and the related things and you sit on their heads during the process.
Every other thing would turn out pretty bad.

I m from mardan. I bought a D16 assembly for my 2005 civic from shobba bazar cost me 28000 without giving my old assembly a weak ago.
Orignal lights cost me 9000
And one driver side fender which cost me 2800,
Both side mirror 3900, with buttons.
Orignal Radiator with both fans cost me 4000.
