toyota and rinspeed both claim to have done this first.

both cars were launched at the 1990 geneva car show.

the wheels spin but the metal rim stats where it is, there are gears inside the metal rims..

brakes work on the same principle as a drum brake (inside the wheel though)

it has adjustable height, you can select any combo for each wheel individually. it was a tremendous piece of engineering back in 1990 and it still is.

the other day i was watching a mag on the discovery channel, that wheel had an lcd on it, but i forgot the name thus couldnt search it on the internet... have you got any idea aout it???
