well guys, it's finally happened. one day i went over to the limousine guy near nagan chowrangi in Karachi and asked him about turning my 1998 bmw 5 series into a 20' limo, then i got the idea from another dude in a mutt jeep a small distance away, it thought; i can turn a mutt into a hummer by stretching it from both sides: length and width. the only problem i think will BE a problem is how i will widen the mutt, any ideas? oh yeah, if anyone has a mutt jeep or knows someone selling a mutt or commando jeep please email me. i need a mutt under 2 lakhs with a good engine and chassis (the body doesn't have to be great.

it would be much wiser to use a wagoneer/jeep/cherokee/ and the best a GMC/ford 150 chassis to build up a hummer

the dimensions of a MUTT are much much smaller and the GMCs can meet ur criterion

yar u wud hav to cut chassis and extend by welding sheet metal.this is not at all recommended because of our jahil mechanics wid their improvised wielding plants.there is a need for proper support when u do such extensions which our mistris do not know how to calculate.

Agreed. Wagoneer is better suitable doner frame for the project.

i could'nt find a jeep in my range, and the one's i did they're engines were almost dead=( the hummer project is off and the 1974-76 toyota mark II is on. im looking for a mark II under 1 lakh and it should be petrol or cng not diesel. i would've started the jeep project if i was'nt low on funds =( but jeeps are just too expensive! a good jeep costs around 3 lakhs!
