Hummer H1 / HMMWV Military Version

i am bringing my Humvee next year from Europe to Karachi, Original Humvee ( Hummer H1) fully restaurated and road legal in Europe. I am also dealing with Hummers here , if anyone interested to import them let me know.
I think there is only 1 original Humvee in Pakistan, but one in rawalpindi is replica

i am not importing this vehicle, i am german national and this vehicle is german registered with german number plate, i can bring it to khi in Luggage scheme and i can drive it in pak for 6 months and then transport it back to germany
only possible is in such case to import as vintage vehicle because this is 1988 model and 30 years old, so this way is possible to import, but i dont know exactly charges, i have 10 vehicle of them here in germany with german papers and all 30 years old

Wondered the very same thing!

Military versions are off-road only and are illegal for road usage due to having no proper equipment (DOT approved turn signals, mirrors, low-high beams etc) to meet U.S federal regulations.

Conversions do exist; no doubt; but they're a pain to register from The DMV (Department of Road Vehicles) and cost more than its worth (At least in The U.S).

@tniazi Would love to know how you managed to imported TEN military Hummers to Germany from The U.S Army surplus auction and then got them approved and licensed. Gonna be an interesting read!

Most importantly; The V8s in Hummers are HEAVY polluters and I've no idea how they were able to pass EU's extremely tight emission regulations!

I'm sensing a fake story here but... I've been wrong before so who knows?

You must have seen an H1, a road legal civilian variant which was released by General Motors due to HEAVY demand!

I've seen several limousine conversions of it on T.V; not in real life sadly!

I can only imagine the MPG of this thing! Must be around ~5 miles per gallon!

Well, more than 80% of my posts are related to car issues like mechanical, electrical, & lubricants related.but frankly, now i feel tired for replying almost same posts, same issues. Because people rather find it easy to post the issue as new thread instead of searching old threads.

Pretty damn good mileage for a stretch H1. In my experience the regular size do 5 mpg with a tailwind.

tareen, i have contract with us army base in Germany where i get vehicles approved and i have here in my company all system to demilierize them and they are road legal and registered as pvt vehicle

first i am not buying them from USA my company is based in Germany and there are only 3 licenced company who may buy from US army bases in Germany and we have here all system to demilitarize these vehicle and make them road legal. i have lot of vehicles here and all are road legal and with German documents. all vehicle are registered as Vintage car,. so no required any emission certificate
if you need any vehicle you can always visit my warehouse in Germany and when i am coming with vehicle to karachi, i would let you know

Vehicles from USA are Dangerous there are people who sitting with their ass in jail because they missused terms of sale and vehicle were just as collecting item or offroad but they sold outside us and tried to export lol
its same like when you export a gun
