is there any point and oppertuntiy for fishing??Actaully i'm into fishing and wanted to know the details about this at khan pur dam.
Fishing in Khan Pur Requires a special permit from Fisheries.And now s days dam is full upto Max limits.Its very difiicult to catch fish with rods or with dori kunda.Well what i can suggest u to fish with a net or wait till summer as soon as the water level goes down.Other wise its very difficult to catch fish.Khan pur dam fishing is totaly probhited as contract (theeka) for fishing is given on yearly basis on open bids & the person who got that contract by paying 4 or 5 million Rs will not at all allow u to fish.However few locals from near villages catch fish (Chori chupay) but police,Army people from Army camp at khan pur ,Fisheries & Theekadar people petrols the dam round the closk.I wont suggest u to fish without prior permit or approval.Regards,Fahad
