Noce and genuine crowns are available but the prices are way to high and yes peaople have kept them for decades.
People buy them for comfort and luxury and dont hesitate to spend on fuel expenses obviously if you are daily driving a JZ series or any crown in the same expense you can own 2 corollas fuel costs.

This is Diesel 2.7L engine with turbo

Its diesel 2.4 d turbo

This I had told you earlier but you didn't believe me.

It is 2L T engine that came in Hilux/Prado of early 90s with L series chassis. There is no 2.7 liter turbo diesel offered by Toyota from that era. There was a 3L (2800 cc) but it was naturally aspirated.

Anyways, if you are inclined towards it because of its lesser demand, then what can I say? If you buy it I can bet with my limited experience that you shall be sitting in workshops regularly just as before.

It's true that these old vehicles need restoration and maintenance work in any case. But at least try finding a vehicle whose originality is preserved.to some extent. Saada alfaaz mein, jiis gari mein jugarein kam hui hoon.

I told him its 2.4L turbo, but he said its 2.7L as you can see in his Add too.

No offence to the owner but i believe that he doesn't know anything about his car. This further implies that it has to be a heavily beaten up vehicle. He is just driving it with whatever condition it's in.

Buy this car with 2.4L turbo diesel engine. (Owner saying its his daily runner in Islamabad which is using for office and he don’t have second car).

Keep running this engine unless some serious issues pops up.

This engine is sluggish and pick up is not good (although fuel efficient). With this your experience of driving in Lahore daily traffic can be irritating.

1jz normal rate 185k and almost 2.5 lakh is the expense now come towards the xyz expenses 1 lakh. suspension and diff replacement 1.5lakh body job and etc it will cost more than an oem chassis crown so get your pockets filled up and buy a decent original body crown a normal crown of 95 model will cost you around 11 or 12 lakhs
An outxlass conditiom crown is around 17lakh for 1994 model which does is hard to find
