I think someone would be offended only if there are serious problems and he's not truthful about the real condition of his car. Otherwise, if you've advertised your car publicly there is no point in being so sensitive about people discussing its pros and cons, openly.
Like I said, just hide the number plates.
It's your hard earned money, so you can't just throw it away without consultations with your acquaintances.
