Hybride Mehran

Dear all
Have a little experience with making electric bikes and stuff. Made one with parts collected from Junkyards in my city and won a prize in a science competition.
An idea, I would love to share with all to explore possibilities:

I have searched around on the web and found quite powerful wheel hub motors, alongwith necessary parts which could be imported from China to make Mehran a hybride (electric + Petrol)
Parts required:
1) Two wheel hub motors (to be fixed in the rare. i.e. rare wheels would be replaced)
2) A speed controller
3) Lithium ion Battery pack.

It seems like all can be done and Mehran would run on electricity through a battery at the back of the car. One can switch between engine power and electric power.

It is just the basic idea, a team of engineers could work to make it happen. It might require about Rs. 2 to 3 lack for equipment / parts.

Local auto industry must get expertise of Engineers like you.
For Mehran converting into hybird sounds good, but it will increased the cost of the Mehran and efi engine Mehran is already running very economical. Hybird system setup is not maintenance free, Battery of hybird car requires replacment after some time and that will be a big cost, So its good as a assignment project.

You might be able to source the Eco Idle battery pack from Junkyards of Karachi, but even then a mehran with 4 lacs spent over it would cost somewhere close to a Pleo+(Mira) and that kind of price tag is not feasible at all.
