Masoom people in Pakistan love poetry and keep it hearing from year to year.

Very poetic on paper and nice eye candy.

Now lets get back to reality, Would these cars be feasible for the common "middle class" of Pakistan? The cars shown above are best owned as leases in USA - they are returned to the dealer after 3 years, no-one keeps them and the very scant few left with owners are sold at very low prices due to the higher service costs. For most people they would rather pay a $400/month payment on a new car with warranty than to repair such a hybrid as all savings are negated in ownership.

This seems a nice car and will qualify for 50% exemption mind sharing the price tag

Regular gasoline A3 starts 32K. Etron for sure will be around 45K. No pricing details yet.

so i have a question..

Now adays in pakistan the prius and honda reborn hybrid are running, is they running on green batteries?? cx ive heard somewhere dt the green batteries cars will sonn introduced in pakistan, what that mean??

well batteries have lithium and need special steps in case of recycling. even if you change your tires you pay $2 per tire extra for recycling. Its not like you just throw away batteries in the regular garbage.

by Green batteries it means that new technologies/ materials are used so that it has minimal effect on the environment specially land fill. Also the manufacturing process used processes with minimal effect on environment. Green means environmentally friendly. nothing in green in color.

BTW do you live in naokhar?

the Prius or Honda running in Pakistan cant be charged by you. unless it has plug in technology. The hybrids in Pakistan have battery which charge by on board generator. or regenerative technology its its new Prius , I mean 2010 or newer model.

The Plug ins have higher millage for the fact that you can plug in the car by house hold electricity which charges the battery. Regular Prius don't have this option.
