Hyundai Creta Facelift revealed. (Indian market bookings are open)

The Hyundai Creta is a midsize SUV from Hyundai India and has been a consistent bestseller in the Indian car market since launch close to a decade ago. The car is in it's second design avatar and is getting a midlife facelift to keep it's appeal.

The new car gets major cosmetic updates, a lot more tech and marks the return of the turbo-petrol engine. The car gets a new 160hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine under the hood. Also gets twin connected screens on the dashboard

Bookings are open for inr 25,000 deposit, Price range is between 11 lacs to 20 lacs with seven variants and seven color options.

Personally not a fan of CSUVs

But it still looks like falls in to the price range of Honda City and alikes.

1.5L Turbo 160 HP isn't it a little too much power for this Creta, I'm am guessing it comes with a single front wheel front only.

The Venue is a CSUV for example. The Creta is clearly midsize and price range is from 13.5lacs to 24lacs on-road ex-Chennai. The City price range is from 14-19lacs on-road ex-Chennai.

Hyundai sold 11,814 Creta cars in India in Nov2023 and December is a slow month for cars anywhere.
