This manual has a breaking in period mentioned of 1000 km of engine. I thought there is no need for this for all cars these days ?

Every new vehicle requires break in period so every part in engine is lubricated.

How does the trunk opening smart mode work ? If I have the key with me and I come near the trunk, would it open ? What I have to do to open it without pressing button on remote or pressing the button on trunk monogram ?

Yes trunk opens when you approach the car without doing anything when this feature is enabled.

Got it. However, not sure about breakin period. I have owned hondas previously and everyone said no need for break-in period. Plus I intend to take car to ISB in September and 1000km break-in will take time. Still confused.

break in time does not mean that you cannot drive the car to Islamabad or any other city. Just drive it normally

Apparently elantra models outside PK have driver profile where seat settings are saved. Was wondering that maybe this feature is also available in PK version and not accessible due to the android unit that PK version uses, or maybe stored in ecu and can be accessed using a device like elm327 (not sure what works with it, used this with my Honda), provided that the required hardware or sensors are already there. Just a long shot

Secondly, where is elantra ecu port and what device I can connect (like OBD2 elm327) I can use ?

I clean throttle body every 2500 KM myself, I find a lot of carbon in that after every 2500 KM

Why is elantras resale crashing? I saw a GLS 2023 for 60 lakhs and 2022 for 56. Makes me swap my city aspire for an elantra now.
