u cant find pristine RS in 6.5 million... these days.. specially 20/21. by pristine i mean sheesha genuine, scratch less and under 30K mileage. The car demand is way too much. Elantra is oriel competitor not RS.

There's one 20 model burgundy color Civic RS Turbo with mileage of 60k kms & a demand of 6.5 million PKR, two pieces of door touched. The other alternative is 22 model metallic grey Elantra GLS, mileage of 45k kms & a demand of 6 million. I had a test drive of both of them and I'd say the driving experience of RS Turbo is unmatched but at the same time, the features and comfort of Elantra are lucrative.

Elantra every time coz the feel of interior and drive is very comfortable and its reasonably fast considering 2.0 engine and very economical on fuel as well.

The only blocker for me is the metallic grey color. Although I like the color myself, my concern is the resale value of this color as white color is usually walking cash in the market.

Ebrake is missing in Elantra a huge deal breaker. Window down is the only option. Wireless charger is useless as it keep disconnecting. Looks are subjective but 99% will rate civic better across the globe. Turbo RS is super economical plus u have huge punch when u floor. You drove both so ur decision will be super easy. Elantra competes with Civic Oriel only. Ur money will be stuck too as 1 elantra will 10 civics get customer call in this segment. Remember, Elantra is not cross over where honda toyota badly lacks in Pakistan. 60k is bit too much to my liking unless driven by an absolute gem of an owner. In sedan segment, nothing matches or even comes close to RS, specially in your budget. Elantra is a good option but thats all, no fun, no market craze

That's the issue sir, I'm unable to find a good RS in my budget. All of them are being demanded for around 7 million while mine is very strict between 6 to 6.5 million.

Despite budget constraint i will pick RS over Elantra. Elantra is a inferior by huge margin. Get oriel in prisitne then or find Turbo Oriel. Find me a single person who has sold elantra and still prefer it over Turbo Civic... nhn milna apko. I sold my 22 RS a year ago.. now drive a tuscon.. but if sedan leni ho civic hands down

I found an owner who had kept both RS & Elantra at one time, according to him the build quality of RS is quite inferior to Elantra and from what i have seen, that's true. The doors of RS of the same model year were found to catch rust as well as they are very light which makes you realize that the build quality is compromised. However, as you said, the looks and driving experience of RS >>>>

Dear I have X gen oriel and Elantra both currently. Civic is so so inferior in everything. Fastian bhai himself owns a Tucson and supporting civic still. Shivic dudes never seize to amaze me with the words that experience the vtec kick at the back of their head (probably the thing which has cracked their minds forever). Go for Elantra and enjoy the ride. Charcoal grey is very desirable and nice color to have.

i did mention i own tuscon. That's not a sedan sir. Build quality is not as good as koreans in Pakistan, i agree but its not like a serious thing since honda is super reliable here and is time tested. The drive experience is matchless in sedan. Since crossover market has nothing really good from Honda Toyota, had to go for Tuscon. Also, the reason SHIVIC boys keep praising it once you drive, there is no going back .. unless you add lots of money and get a huge upgrade.

dear i have kept almost every gen of modern Shivics. Its a c segment sedan like any other c segment sedan. and i find other options in similar segment to be better in different ways. so please dont start civic vs every other car in the world debate. this is elantra forum.

shivic boys can brag about their out of this world shivics in the civic section. please go ahead.

Let Yasir make a decision of his own after considering pros and cons of everything he is considering

The person asked for comparison so i didnt start sir. Secondly C Class is also C segment. That doesnt define a car. Now tell me why elantra and corolla dont offer multilink... the single reason a car handling is primarily defined.

because corolla is built to last unlike the civic which has a fragile suspension which easily gives in after 1 lac km drive or even earlier if driven on rough roads ..do you see any 1980s civic on the roads? nope but i see many 80s even 70s corollas on roads as these things are built to last ...civic is a low riding car gives better grip and handling but the suspension is weak(multilink) compared to other and you may get better handling but it wont last long on our roads before needing a major overhaul..plus newer civics are plagued with steering rack faults i hope they fix this issue sooner then later. plus higher seating position gives somewhat less fatigue ,tiredness on longer journeys compared to lower of the civic..all comes down to preferance . if merc starts local manufacturing of c class which they dont then it will surely be compared with its japanese rivals according to segment(class).

yar i m observing u since long time. Same story every time. Buyer asked for civic vs elantra. thats all. no one keeps cars for decades now. Torsion is shit grade suspension and now 12th gen offers it so nothing wrong with toyota but Indus is selling crap. No behs at all with you bro.. sedan should be super stable and that's it. i m talking on grounds.. i have kept corollas and civics... so built to last is all theory. grande has more shock leaks than civics. These are fazool topics.. FYI never bought a used car. Nothing against corolla, kept from 2018-2021 end. it was ok sedan with pathetic handling and much noisier vs civics. 11th is more comfortable than any corolla ever launched locally..

Multilink is not a weak suspension unless driven like morons with 6 people in the car on village (unpaved) roads 24/7 is the criteria. Personally, I would never buy a car with with torsion beam rear suspension. We are not living in 90s anymore.

Corolla in 12th gen offers it. It was like torsion was for cheaper models offered by Toyota. I m equally unhappy from cross as cross offers same bouncy suspension

.Actually its you who has no idea about nothing and have a habit of defending your purchases plus corolla cross is still a superior vehicle in safety to a 2 airbag civic or even korean dated crossovers just rear leg space is an issue i would suggest you to stop being over efficient . and ps camry doesnt have failing steering racks multilink mainly for better handling grip but when talk of durability the older torsion beam will be better suited.

lol so that's ur source of information. much appreciated brother. every car has one or two issues known throughout. Torsion is cheaper and is intended for lower end models to save cost. I asked, why camry doesnt have torsion beam... FYI that as nothing to do with steering racks... why RAV4 is not torsion beam? why 12 th gen corolla sedan is not more offering torsion beam? if its super cool, wht almost all companies are opting out from their upper middle tier models? in 2024, 11th gen corolla is utter crap, so is cross.

further, go visit indus dealerships... cross has high number of steering claims already.... i dont google, buddy.. facts cannot be changed

where did i say torsion is better or is the latest suspension? i just said it holds up better overtime .. i also agree that multilink is newer suspension and made for better handling,grip..in 2024 cross has hybrid engine and 7 airbags which is missing from honda civic rs it has adas feature though plus civic it has basic led reflector housing headlights which is also older technology and cheaper mostly in lower end variants whereas other companies have projector leds which are more premium and available in higher end cars so you cannot just judge a car on one thing alone ..yes corolla 11th is now old no doubt in that ..while as far as steering claim is concerned every other civic owner has faced it and even the replaced racks have again developed the same issue in some cases .
