Any updated news about elantra as yet. I mean if they reveal features and prices, then the wait is worth while otherwise wohi Yaris

Three variants are coming.

2.0 SR
1.6 SR
1.6 base variant

Both SR variants will have almost same features like

Push start
Digital climate control
DRLs
LED headlights
Seat height adjuster ( electronic most probably)
Retractable mirrors

Base variant will miss these features
No manual variant

Base variant will be close to Yaris Ativ X

1.6 SR price will be around Altis 1.6

And top variant can be expected around 38-39

Great pricing. I will prefer Elantra base model over Yaris Ativ X and City 6th Gen any day.

May be, but i think if the base variant miss the features like DRL, LED projection Lamps, Alloywheels, Multi Media steering it will not trade off the Yaris Option. I reckon Hyundai Nishat should provide manual Transmission in the base variant but must provide these cosmatic features.

Base variant will have halogen headlights, alloy rims are there. Pictures of base variant were shared above.

There should be some differences in 1.6 sr and 2.0 sr apart from cc otherwise due to tax and mileage thing 2.0 wont sell much

It also seems to have reverse camera, hopefully that is standard.

So, this means the pictures shared above in this thread with ELANTRA on the flat bed trucks are CBU's ? I thought we are sure those are CKD ??

Because that one gray colored vehicle has "GLS" emblem on trunk.

This is CKD and all three variants will have "GLS" emblem.

Well, GLS identify the trim level. I don't think all trims will carry same GLS emblem.

As i said in above post, launch is delayed till March from January. Nishat wanted to have enough stocks on launch so they delayed it.

March means, One could have in December 21 or in 2022.. Elantra will attract a sizable market and the premium mafia will grab this opportunity.

If thats true, That means they will offer one trim level and target Corolla 1600cc only for starting and later offer different trims.

I hope they can come up with a standard Gli like car with a good size engine that is good on power and less of shashkas and affordable for the masses.
