Doubt either new gen corolla or civic are coming anytime soon, corolla mayyy come. I'd honestly advise Honda atlas to really consider the next generation HRV if they want to survive in the 3-4.5m segment.
The problem with korean brands is once again the same as the Japanese brands in Pak, run by local groups since we are a micro market and not important enough to be run directly. The local groups have to make their own cut and pay royalties, aren't too resourceful to go extremely aggressive too, and are plagued by bureaucratic old school thinking.
Sadly, real incomes have hardly moved over decades which means the mass market is stuck in the cd70 crap and the car market remains not very attractive from proper manufacturing perspective rather is an easy place to dump old stuff and make a few bucks or pursue a low volume high margin business.
