official fuel economy figures from Australia. In real life even in Australia drivers might not be able to meet these numbers as the official numbers are under certain test parameters. I think a Pakistani Elantra with poor quality local blended fuel will not meet these numbers either.

i have driven 16000 km.. in city it gives 11.5 to 14 depends on drive and on long 16 to 17...

I will be at par with 45 days tomorrow but haven’t received elantra yet, whom should i call? The HNMPL helpline seems of no use.
To all the people that have bought , owned and used the Elantra....... Whats ur review on it? I have kept both grande and civic ( this might seem controversial) but I've found elantra to be pretty good ......what do u guys think. Oh and one more thing... should i replace the general tyres with something better like Pirelli or Michelin?
The controversial part was me trying to imply that the car handles and feels better than both honda and Toyota
Changing tyres is overrated, don’t change if you feel the ride comfort tyre handling/braking etc are satisfactory
But doesn't changing them automatically better the performance?
How is it over rated ? I chnaged from factory to Yokohama made loads a difference much less noise , handeled much better. Ride was much softer afterwards.
Elantra's production as well as sales are increasing, hehe.
i remember picanto didnt use to sell much in its early days , now it is quite a sought after car. Elantra may pick up as well.
