well as far as i got to know the plans, next gen elantra might be on the cards by the end of 2022 if the facelift of civic and corolla comes in time.

NO, it's not coming in 2022. I mean I can verify and confirm that next Elantra is not on cards for 2022.

Next generation Civic is coming by mid year 2022 while next generation Corolla Cross CKD with Hybrid is coming early next year.

Next gen Tucson is on priority for Nishat and that too is not planned for 2022.

does anyone know if elantra comes with lining under the hood and boot. i saw the display car at Lahore airport showroom which had both under its hood and boot but the dealership says that these are not standard and are fitted by dealership at additional cost

lining under boot comes. for hood u need to procure and its not very expensive usually between 1500-2000 Rs for hood heat insulation.

I visited Hyundai for 5000 kms inspection today, i was told that on 2022 ON is 06 lakhs. You will get the car on 47 Lacs and on 2021 its 04 lac. The delivery time for elantra was in May, 2022

Really...Dealerships should be kicked in the face for this logic. With 200 cars selling /month, if they cant deliver no one should even consider them.

Elantra has genuine buyers, whereas, Toyota and HONDA show is run by investors

Genuine buyers should get on time? with 200 sales a month, the company should deliver in a week's time. Remember, the investor also sells car to buyers otherwise, there is no point in investing money..so net sales are always similar in impact. So this logic doesnt hold true here. sales wise 1500 vs 200 should be enough for Hyundai to avoid delays.

Its CKD vs Local Production. I am in love with ELANTRA and i am one happy owner. Rest, i am least concerned with production units and sales. My car is serving me well and that is what matters. I am not a guy in search of resale value. PEACE!

elantra will have equal resale in less then an year. more and more people are loving this car and its becoming a norm like sprotage.

rule of thumb is that we should avoid getting CBUs. rest all the models will have resale and somewhat reliable after-service no matter how worst is the assembler.

Why are car tyres pricey in Pakistan. I just replaced 4 tyres on Hyundai i30 (2009) with Goodyear efficientgrip performance 205/55/16 for £120 all in. Granted they not brand new with sticker but they are nearly brand new as in still has 8mm tread.
