Latter two have decades of reliability , vast parts and mechanic network behind them with support available at every freakin’ street corner.
From barren deserts to frozen lakes and forests, you’ll find the cars and their parts plus mechanics everywhere. Same for their demand and sales. Can even sell the cars in one day.
A new entrant in the market has to come up with something to attract buyers.
The only reason Elantra saw any sales no matter how tiny they were, were because it was cheaper to buy.
And that’s why Elantra sells elsewhere in the world.
If it’s no longer cheaper to buy n maintain, makes no sense to buy it.
Unless you’re a huge fan of the shape.
