get it replaced. i had a problem with it in my previous vehicle but i got it installed from bilal gunj when i converted my club to power steering. it costed some 250~300 back then.

Aoa gentlemen i got my santro club overhauled(top overhaul) a week ago...details are as under for all those who are facing probs like eating of engine oil or water, diff coloured smokes in exhaust......mechanics are quite mature,caring and responsible...so far my car going gr8.....dint hav to get back to mechanic after overhaul...n will report him after doing 1000kms for oil change...got spares from

so there fore it costed me as a whole for 15000RS(Approx)...where water pump,water body pipe and clutch cable are apart from engine work and was extra kharcha...its not so costly 10-12000 ki game hai bus... mechanics add is
FIne CNG and Auto Workshop opp chohr chakki stop peshawar road rwp......... AL Rehman cng k opp across the road hai ye mechanic.....Al rehman cng is also gud for cng...

Santro is also famous for its smooth noiseless engine, the engine is quiet. so after overhaul do you found any difference in engine sound? and what parts? genuine or local?

by "Top Overhaul" i think he means "No bore in engine block-only rings seals etc..."

on last CNG fillup i noticed the milage and it gives me 153 KMs in city filled in Rs. 470/- almost 8.24 KG of CNG filled. average of 3.07 Rs/KM

18.56 KM/KG

city is Islamabad

what you think it is good or i need tunig for better milage, my ride gives me 202 KMs on long rout with 130 KM on motorway and 72 on GT road with low speed. all these calculaions are without AC.

mine was 22 KM/KG before last tuning. i have to go for tuning again, as the mechanic removed the air blockage/tape last time, i should block the air again.

Thnaks absarsattig ! yar ur mechanic cost u 15,000 some of my colleagues/friends told their known good mechanics have given them estimated figures of 7 - 8000 Rs.

you take out the water pump, radiator cap, oil/filter and all those things which are not included in a usual overhaul, net cost would drop to around 10,000.... and this is what it should cost... 7-8000 would cost include only the labour, Rings and Gens .... and may be valves...

Thats very impressive mileage. Is ur santro is with FF CNG? how is the pick of your car?? Mine has got exactly same pick as that on petrol. May be thats why em getting such low mileage.
