A common problem with GV santro. U have to open the gas guage that should be on CNG kit. Under it there will be a neodymium magnetic with a plastic housing! most probably that plastic housing would have cracked. (the needle wouldnt be spinning by the gas pressure valve.). For that simply use elfy to fix the crack. The magnet should not spin freely between the plastic housing so hold it firmly while applying elfy.
If its not cracked, then move the needle with ur finger to see if the plastic housing rotates with it. If it does then all u have to do i re-calibrate it. Which means burn all of ur cng in your car cylinder. Open the guage, set the needle on zero and ull be good to go.

its comfortable, excelent drive... boy on 1.3L have lost from my santro 1.0 L stock!

Yesterday I was driving my santro club 2004 on motorway at night time, AC was working just fine . . Suddenly after 2 hours drive, AC finished its cooling, was looking like compressor tripped off. I made the switch off for 10 min. Then again switched on, it started but again went off after 10 min.
Today morning, i was not expecting, but AC was working fine from home to office . . even at low gear and signals... What this issue can be and how should i tackle this?

Looks like you thermostat switch for the AC is not working, which trips the ac when it reaches a certain temperature, In the night since temp is low outside and it didnt tripped, the condensor must have got ice frozen on it which caused the AC to stop working, in the day the weather is so hot that it dosnt get cold enough to freeze, so its working fine.

Get the thermostat switch replaced/adjusted not a big job, any car ac repair service guy will be able to fix that. I goto Yadgar car ac on Lawrence road opposite Lahore zoo.

My cousin bought a Model 2006 Club, about 1 month ago for 425000. Has everything u mentioned except the alloys. It was also on petrol, Silver color, around 62k, non accidented, non painted from anywhere and with very good AC. But he got it from one of his colleagues. 450k to 460k should be the price IMO.

We have a SANTRO Club (2006) in our family. It has a mileage of 51000 km and driven mostly in Rwp / Isb.

Recently it seems to have developed a problem. When it encounters a bump on the road, there is an audible "thud" sound, that seems to be coming from both front wheels. This mostly happens when there is an "upward bump" (for example when the car enters a raised repaired patch on the road).

Is it a serious problem? What are the remedies ?
