Hyundai Santro Plus Gaadri/Gaathri (Cross member)

Hello,

I've a 2000 Hyundai Santro Plus model and recently I was having an issue, there was a tak tak noise when car was being driven,

I went to my mechanic and he checked, the problem was from Gaadri as it was so rusted and cracked alot, he said that if delayed, engine can fall down ( my kenchis are new )

Now He asked his guy from shersha and the price of Gaadri full right hand side drive genuine he said is 23000rs

I went to plaza to double check the prizes, i went to 2 shops and asked for the price they also quote around same, 20,000rs

is gaadri really that expensive? I googled alot and found alot of people buying it for 1500rs for mehran or cultus(not whole, only few portion or plate or something )

Dont compare santro with mehran. Parts for mehran are locally assembled and are abundantly available thats why it is cheap.

The rate quoted to you are for parts taken out from scrapped or from old accident cars as new might not be available.

Gadri mehran ki single hotee hai. Ap confirm kero which part ur mechanic is referring to and what ur searching on internet?

he is referring to crossmember he said gaadri to me

its basically the bottom foundation where engine sits and kenchis are connected through

its a whole piece square

Bhai one thing is for sure you will need to replace these...
Can you share the pic from a distant point of view so we can see a little more clearly..

See new parts for a santra a expensive plus these cross members are not an everyday spare to change. You will have to goto magazine lane or shershah yourself if you want to buy a little cheap. Also try the Shafiq mor market.. 23000 for a scraped item sound to expensive, check them your self...

thats a pretty eff up piece. it will be changed, inspect other things as well which are rusted and connected. goto shershah and search and buy. negotiate as the marekts are closed so they might sell cheap.

go with ur mechanic so u wont get fooled by the sellers.

search plaza also al hilal motors sells parts for hyundai. maybe u get new in this price.
