Interesting comparison, a w213 E is 2.5+, whereas I doubt even Nishat out of all groups would price sonata close to 2.
I'm not too educated on the Sonata, but do have a base line understanding on the 213 E class.
Anyways, you'll only find a 200/180 shahnawaz import below 3, as last I heard uk/jp import plug in hybrids had a demand of 3.5+, and 300's are really rare. In terms of features, only a uk/jp import will offer stuff like heated rear seats, auto boot, bms etc.
Shahnawaz imports before 2019 won't even offer the Burmester sound system (which imo, is one of the best features of Merceses 2014+ onwards), and most won't have the digital cluster either. Best you'll get in those depends on for e.g, say you go for the exclusive line, which will get you memory seats, rear shades, but that's about it in terms of features our pkdm cars don't have.
The 19' e180 did come with the Burmester and digital display, but I believe it uses a Renault 1.5 engine, and is actually the only 213 I've spent time with, and while it is incredibly quite at idle, under throttle, you'll start to have mechanical sympathy for the thing, and 19'+ 200's aren't common either. Regarding reliability, I've heard of O2 sensors problems for the 213 though I can't point out for what year or engine, so take that as you will.,
In terms of performance, despite what tiktok/instagram car guys will have you believing, a base E is still incredibly capable, it has a lighter front end turn in compared to the Sonata or even an A6, though in terms of power, the 350e is the only one that can best most cars on a straight, because the 200 is only about facelift Hilux fast.
On a side note, I wonder if the N line sonata would be heavy on the front end, kind of like what plagued the Accord v6, though I suppose it doesn't matter much as its not a full blown N and just an N line.
