Another thing to note is that whenever we make sth PKDM, its comfort level tanks when those pathetic rock hard seats are used. I didn't like a single PKDM Kia or Hyundai model being introduced this time because the seats are uncomfortable. Grand Carnival being a CBU has excellent seats.
Same thing with the luxury sedan market. The German cars have excellent finishing, materials and seats. The Sonata will never be able to compete other than on price. What one can do is replace the new Sonata seats with imported kabali seats which should improve the comfort level...........but which also begs the question "Why buy one in the first place?"
Camry and Accord market is the best that Sonata will ever capture being less than half in price and with kabali comfortable seats it'll be a very good alternative.
