In a country where Sehgal motors is the de facto go-to place after buying a new car (for getting fake quad exhausts minimum), then a Sonata being a labelled a luxury sedan isn't too far fetched.
Elantra isn't moving out of the shelves, Tucsons booking is stopped, not sure about how their pickup Shehzore/Porter is doing.
And now a luxury product. They badly need a small car Hyundai Santro or e10 maybe that could work for them.
If I was running hyundai nishat my lineup would be accent, creta, alcazar, and tucson
You're a car enthusiast. Unfortunately Nishat guys are just businessmen who have least interest in cars. They just do what they think will earn them money.
Nishat is the worst partner hyundai could have found in pakistan , totally killed the cars potential in pakistan. Late deliveries with tucson and then overpriced elantra and now will most likely overprice sonata by good 2 millions at least.Its really sad.
