I had a soft spot for Tucson, because I liked its looks. BUT will advise everyone to buy KIA SPORTAGE --- these are the same cars under the hood, just looks are different which is a very personal choice.

And even if someone finds Tucson's looks slightly better, it's not worth the "NEW" laughable and greedy price at all.

Boycott NISHAT Hyundai... !

He will learn a good lesson, after failed launches of ioniq, Starex etc.

Hahaha I didnt watch the launch but enjoying reading all of this drama above.
And tbh not surprised at all by anything. Call me pessimistic but not expecting much to change anytime soon (or ever tbh).
Best to save money and fulfil your hobby elsewhere.

It was actually surprising for me to see the introductory price but it was just a tactic to display for newspaper and social media headlines.
I've already said that earlier. Anyone who knows Mian Mansha and Nishat group would tell that they were always going to launch the car above Lucky's prices. While these 2 groups are the most successful business conglomerates in Pakistan, there is a lot of difference in personalities and business strategies of their seths. Mansha goes for high margins always, whereas Lucky focuses on aggressive cost cutting to undercut the price and gain more volumes. So Hyundai prices will always be higher than KIA, Mansha will boast about 'high quality' of their cars while Lucky will try to grab bigger market by keeping its prices below Hyundai.

Also i think Most people In Pakistan who can buy car this expensive 50-60Lack have already bought Sportage.
So this means that potential buyers have also been decreased

People are tearing Nishat a new one on their price announcement post.
Too bad I cant give them a piece of my mind too, they're gonna be real busy banning and blocking more people tonight.

According to the circular, new prices are applicable from 12th August i.e. the First day Tucson went on sale. So even if someone booked on first day and paid 1.5mn advance amount or even Full amount, they might have to pay extra. Hilarious.

There's no set, defined criteria by Nishat, as of yet that who will pay full and who'll pay the old price. Kamaal c**** wali harkat ki hai.
I really wish they had done this in a European country. People would have given them a piece of their own

First, local partner groups are different rather competitors.
Second, Hyundai Korea has no ownership in Hyundai Nishat Motor Limited. They have only given license to Hyundai Nishat to manufacture, market and distribute Hyundai's product line in Pakistan.

Great news for all Hyundai has made deal with other Pakistani manufacturers and increased its prices on the first day of booking. Bravo!! Seedha woh jis ko muqa nahi mila. Hyundai ko muqa milgaya 🏼🏼🏼🏼🏼🏼🏼🏼🏼. All Pakistani manufacturers should be banned. But this is only a dream in a country where zardari and Nawaz rule.

No business ethics at all.Typical Seth mentality as they have come up from being middlemen in some vegetable market.They are also mistaken as if they are selling some premium car.Its just a crossover not even a SUV.In my opinion it is in anywise not advisable to go for any vehicle whose dealership is not widespread and fully qualified.One must wait for at least six months to a year.See how KIA sportage 3S has improved over a period of 6 months.However consumers should get together and put up resistance to such Marketing and Selling practices.

Visited Hyundai Dealership Peshawar to inspect the locally assembled Tuscon. PATHETIC QUALITY OF PAINT AND MATERIALS USED. Paint quality is even worse than Civic. Cheap quality of plastics used. Don’t fall for this crap and save your money. Best option is to buy an imported Suv such as Toyota CHR or wait for Toyota Pakistan to launch Rav4/Corolla Crossover. Kia and Hyundai aren’t in the mood to stay in the market with the quality of vehicles they are offering. Brand new Sportage’s windshields are leaking and headlights are getting fogged. Totally pathetic and unacceptable. Boycott and avoid buying these crap.
