Tucson is not even on the road yet and they shot themselves on foot. People forget Mian Mansha is a typical seth with no dynamic contribution to the economy.

I read that total 1500 units of KLM cars sold in month of July 2020

Majority of people who booked the first day are investors and within few weeks we'll be seeing them selling on a hefty premium. Even the two stealerships (central and airport lahore) were previously honda city sales, are famous for selling booked cars on premium where as they kept using delaying tactics on people with genuine bookings. City sales reputation precedes them. Mansha jaise hee deceitful hain.

What a sad state of affairs. Nishat has disappointed as usual. In this price range, Kia Sportage is a far better option. However, let's hope Kia doesn't raise prices as well.

My brother went today to inquire and book it today at Korangi Karachi dealership but as it was 9.30 in the morning the seth manager had not reached, and the sales person on floor didn't now whether they are taking bookings today or not.

Also a couple of people were already waiting with their payorders. Dont look like Hyundai wants to sale its cars. I've tried to call Hyundai UAN Number for quite a while and no one is responding.

Updated prices and by the way.. booking is closed although some dealerships are taking money full payment upfront and holding that money and once booking reopens , they will initiate the order and delivery in Jan/ Feb 2021 onwards even after full payment upfront and if by then there is price increase, the customer will pay the difference .

I saw an add for Tucson for sale at 6.1 Million. I am sure most of all these initial booking went to premium mafia which is decent words are known as investors.. lol

Analysts say automakers in Pakistan are not ready (or willing) to tackle large volumes and to really grow in size. They are happy with incremental growth in sales where they earn good MARGINS. But without substantial volumes across the models there are few avenues to localize or invest in important technical parts that are currently expensive to import. This in turn means OEMs will continue to depend on the shifty exchange rate and raise prices whenever rupee depreciates. This is a failing model as evidenced by FY20 sales.

Selling more is apparently not on the agenda. As they firmly believe customers who buy cars in Pakistan are largely unaffected by economic slow down and cough up more money whenever demanded. (That too without offering upgrade)

If this happened in a western country, Nishat would be facing a media shitstorm right now, plus they'd be knee deep in legal trouble.
I hope Pakwheels and suneel saab will highlight this with the same enthusiasm they showed at its launch. We don't want a big 4.

New prices will be applicable now. In other words, whatever is the prevailing price at the time of delivery will be final price so, if there is an increase , the customer pays the difference.

On first day there were some buyers [ mostly investors] they paid in full and most of them will get delivery in September and these are the first 200 units I believe, they get the same introductory price. Anyone on partial 1.5Million booking will be paying the new price.

You will see dozens and dozens of Tucson for sale in September with asking price over 6 Million and obviously a premium and inside under the table trading by dealers
