TUCSON.. Price Increased.

Yes it was launched just little over around 24 hours ago and the price was PKR 4,899,000/- for FWD/GLS while PKR 5,399,000/- for AWD/ ULTIMATE.
As per π΄πππππ πππππ ππ ππππππ , the prices are now increased for TUCSON. HYUNDAI increased the price for GLS to PKR 5,099,000/- while the ULTIMATE is now priced around PKR- 5,599,000 /-. Interestingly, the booking is also now temporarily CLOSED. [ By the way , some dealers were even quoting 5,211,400/- for the GLS while 5,711,800/- for the ULTIMATE]
HYUNDAI even removed the previously posted price list from their website. I mean what type of marketing and launch is this ? The vehicle didnt even spent 24 hours on the showroom floors and the price is already bumped upwards .
The price was introductory and first come first basis and I know a company can increase pricing whatever they feel like and whenever they want BUT the way HYUNDAI did does not make sense and sends a negative signal in the market. It's not illegal but to me its unethical and unprofessional and totally BS.
Did Hyundai deceive the genuine customers? Hyundai never wanted to sell Tucson at the announced price at launch and just want to create a ripple effect and useless excitement in the market ? Or I would say they made fun of customer and played a stupid prank. Or something else ??
Or by announced price, they brought in customers to their dealerships, just made bookings and they want to sell at profits by selling at the increased price at time of delivery??
You should also know that, if anyone booked the vehicle at introductory price , they will pay the difference of price at the time of delivery due to increased price. In other words whatever is the prevailing price at time of delivery will be paid by the buyer so, if there is any increase from time of booking, buyer has to pay the balance at the time of delivery.
Or all the units with introductory prices are captured by dealers [ investors ] and their own contacts so, that they can sell it on premiums and in all this unethical business practice, Nishat bhee barabar ki shamil?
It's our utmost responsibility that we reject any vehicle sold to us on premium. If we buy it on premiums, we fuel the problem and becomes part of the problem and culprit in all this as well. STOP paying premiums, have patience and wait. I have seen people who feel proud announcing that they paid a premium, well infact these people are deceiving themselves.
This trend of " Introductory Price" need to stop as well as it also creates an intentional demand supply issue and it also results in premium mafia activity. As an additional info, there are reports for delivery in January 2021 onwards if somehow you book today [ although bookings are closed , dealership are holding onto customer money ], that too even on full payment upfront.
Big 3 was there and a 4th one is joining them too ?? If this is the way HYUNDAI want to do business, I am sorry its completely exploitation. We have seen the BIG 3 [ T, S & H ] increasing their prices after every few months BUT Hyundai created a new benchmark and record in this regard. I hope KIA dont increase their price for Sportage BUT anything is possible at this time.
