I've booked Tucson in Sept and got a delivery date for July 2021 which is insane. I don't think there is so much demand that they have to take 10 months to deliver the car. Definitely, a case of low capacity at their plant or just mismanagement. Although, in my opinion, Tucson clearly surpasses Sportage in looks and options, and good customer service from Kia wouldn't change my decision in this regard.

You are absolutely correct in all your points as far as my opinion is concerned, others may differ. There is no match of Tucson's exterior, it's just stunning.
Secondly, Hyundai Nishat has no idea whatsoever of what they have got themselves into. Lack of capacity is the only issue and the funny thing is consumers are letting them take the full advantage of "Their" shortcomings. It's almost a month now since the launch and Tucson is nowhere to be seen on the road.

For reference I booked mine on 27th August , and got delivery date of March , but the sales manager committed that he will try his best to get me car in Feb (which I highly doubt)

Although few points are subjective in this opinion.. as of engine power . Both Tucson and Sportage has same exact engine and transmission . So, not sure what difference the guy is referring to.. Also not sure what he means by auto tailgate is not practical?? This is again same feature in Sportage

It's true that some points in the post are subjective but hats off to the owner, who has been truthful and honest enough to highlight both pros and cons of the car. The list of both categories contains almost the same number of points.

Here owners start fighting and abusing anyone who finds a weak point in their car.

I am expecting mine in Jan-Feb Insha Allah.
As for the auto tail gate not being practical, I think he means that, once its starts opening, it will not stop for a wall/tree or any hindrance and the tail gate will hit that thing.
Usually, there are sensors in tail gates and if they sense anything that the gate might hit, it stops the function.

So Hyundai made 287 Tucson but sold 237 .. On the other hand dealer says, we have an extra ordinary and overwhelming response. Don't you guys think, there should be no/ at least less gap in production and sales.. ??? As of now , Tucson is sold at ONE MILLION MARKUP.
