Dear Brother Haris- you are right, it's vague statement to say "off road capabilities", let me clarify, we are not talking about Jhal Magsi desert or Cholistan desert off-road rally... such off-road conditions require extensive modifications, i'm sure you know all this.
We are talking off road capabilities in comparison to cars like Corolla or Civic where if one wheel loses traction, people have to push the vehicle out... in such areas... these Hyundai and Kia AWD capabilities make a difference.
In snow areas like "galiyaat", it also gives improved traction control, though, one may need snow chains.. but again, in comparison to corolla and civic.. these SUVs will have better traction there
There are plenty of videos on youtube where Hyundai /Kia cars are showcasing off-road capabilities.. in mud.. or sand .. at that level.. it's already good enough for city people where they can occasionally go and enjoy ride while have better fuel economy than old dinosaurs of toyota..
Jeep Wrangler requires extensive modifications for extreme off-roading.. all cars go through huge investment to make them compatible with extreme off-road conditions like Cholistan race or Jhal Magsi race..
Hyundai /Kia are great cars for city people for multiple purpose...
