i wont suggest u to go for depositing in a fixed account cz the profit u'l get will be sood which is haram.
look its gna b a bit tricky but if i were at ur place i would ev done the business of shares in stock market,there are companies in stock market now aswell which take ur deposits nd the stock experts will invest them,u can earn alota$$$$$$$$$$$$$ in a few time.

its true but i earned about 8lakhs in this business nd lost about 3.5 lakhs aswell:D
but read the post ive mentioned there are now specialized companies now in stock exchange.
they just
1)take ur deposits
2)invest them on daily basis i.e from one share to another nd so on resulting in generation of more nd more $$$$
3)they just charge a nominal rate in profit as reward of their technical skills bsss.
if now i ever get time from mine studies,i'l again do this business,but now in a planned way:D

but here's the problem, the companies u invest in, also have borrowed money from banks etc on interest...so its gonna be haram...
